seasons of motherhood

Being a mama is not for the faint of heart and it can be tough. but its the rewards which makes it so fulfilling. sometimes the joy and happiness of parenthood are most intense in hindsight. in the midst of toddler tantrums or reading stories at bedtime where I can hardly keep my eyes open {or the urge to have dinner as they are still up and your hungry}. The present may seem like the only reality. but when we blink our little babaru{s} are already going to school or facing an empty nest.

As I watch them grow, and blossom now I understand when everyone says it goes so fast. And it does in the rearview mirror. Gratitude can make all the moments more meaningful as were getting through each day.

As Robert Brault once said, "Enjoy the little things in life, because someday you'll realise they were the big things."
