How can colours help us look inside ourselves?

Most of these textures are from my past, and I always seem to remember or encounter them in my dreams. When I use {them} in the work I am usually asking questions about why these specific patterns or textures continue to appear in my space.

What I love about Virginia Chihota is she makes art about her personal experiences. These could be big events like moving to another country or having a baby, or emotions like feeling joyful or uncertain. The colours in this print are cool blues and purples. They look watery and almost transparent. The oval shape looks like an egg or a womb. The white figure inside looks like they are hiding their face from view. Something we time to time experience? right.

What emotions do we feel? a clue might be in this title…x
