feeling {stuck}

Most of the time as mama’s we feel stuck. Sometimes we must {if we can} is take a quick moment and check in with ourselves: are we making the same choices over and over again? What might happen if we made a different choice? It doesn’t have to be big - just different.

Could we…

  • drive or walk a different route to playgroup or work?

  • make something new for breakfast?

  • do a few stretches when we get out of bed?

  • tell someone how we appreciate them?

  • visit the place we have always been meaning to go? take our little babaru with us . . .

  • treat ourselves with kindness in a difficult moment?

  • let go of an expectation?

  • send an email to someone we admire?

  • ask for help?

  • be open and honest about how we really feel?

  • call someone we have lost touch with?

Even the smallest new choice reminds us of our agency, shifts us out of our existing patterns, and opens us up to the new possibilities that are all around us.
