{review} how to be human

We should be the happiest species alive - but most of us aren’t. What’s gone wrong?

By treating ourselves more like machines and less like humans, always chasing what’s {better}, we’ve forgotten the 4 billion years of evolution that makes us human. With a little help from a monk {who tells us how our mind works} and a neuroscientist {who tells us how our brain works}, Ruby Wax answers every question we have ever had about: evolution, thoughts, emotions, the body, addictions, relationships, sex, kids, the future and compassion.

How to be Human is the only manual we need to help us upgrade our mind.

After reading this book, i really admire the rest of Wax’s {self help} books as it provides me some spirituality with laughter. As a mama it is hard life with these little humans we have to manage and we hardly have time for ourselves let alone read, though her books are ones I can leave and continue where I left off. I owe a great debt to her for enlightening me on my mental health and life in general especially in this new chapter of parenthood and marriage.
