monkey music
“The psychological benefits of such classes/ groups to both parents and children are significant. They act as a form of crucial peer support with the added benefit of the music focus which is important for mental wellbeing. As we know, the mental health of the parents impacts the mental health and development of the child.”
Monkey Music Parent and Parent-Infant Psychotherapist
This special purple monkey will always remind me of happy days at monkey music. Since my little babaru was 4 months we started monkey music, a safe, supportive, nurturing environment with other parents, carers and children who are encouraged to enjoy each other’s company through age appropriate and interactive musical activities.
Music is woven into the fabric of our lives. It ignites all areas of child development and skills for school readiness, including intellectual, social-emotional, motor, language, and overall literacy. It helps the body and the mind work together. Exposing our little babaru to music during early development helps them learn the sounds and meanings of words.
