newborn {days}

by Lauren Ridenour

What I admire about Lauren’s work is that she hopes to portray the feeling of connection to one another. For instance, she draws quickly people in honest moments; whether they’re reading on the subway, or children playing in a park, a woman hanging up her laundry to dry. All of which we forget we are all connected to one another. We are all one. I myself like her feel inspired by our similarities. Less became more.

Her work is intended to be simplistic, imaginative and expressive, in form where there is some energetic and bold lines to channel her inspiration and thoughts that can be found in everyday life wherever we are in this world.
